Sustainability

In this article I will be talking about sustainability. First of all, what does it even mean? Sustainability means the ability to be maintained at a certain level. Sustainability is so important because it helps promote well-being for all ages.

This is now more important than ever especially becase of COVID-19. COVID is actually helping is some ways ironically. Since this is a pandemic, I feel like once we get past this worldwide pandemic, smaller scale things like dealing with flu outbreaks will be dealt with properly since it will not be as serious as COVID. Another thing this current pandemic is helping us with is our ability to be prepared for situations like this. God forbid, but if something like this was to happen again I am confident that we would be able to deal with it and eradicate it quickly.

Now that a vaccine is on the way I like the way our medical personnel are handling it. They are considering all ages, keeping in mind that people with older age are more susceptible to COVID-19. Also, they are healthcare providers a high priority as well. Whether you are opposed to getting a vaccine or not, the way the goverment and medicare is considering all ages and people is quite satisfying.

In conclusion, sustainability is very important whether you think it is or not. We have gone thorugh many outbreaks on a smaller scale that were handled properly. I feel like COVID is really going to build a strong medical awareness foundation for our future.
